One of the methods of glycerol valorization is the processing by selective hydrogenolysis in thepresence of catalysts, to obtain products for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics. In the present study is aimed atenhancing the conversion of glycerol from the transesterification process of the vegetable oils to propanediol, byusing new catalytic materials.
