Soft magnetic core, which consists of nanoorder inslate-filmcoated pure iron atomizedrnpowder, made by P/M method without rich amount of binder, so-called "SMC", has highrnsaturation magnetization and high electric resistivity. Because this material has somernresistivity than so-called dust core which has much amount of resin in the compact, its usablernfrequency range is limited until 5 kHz. We developed new SMC material which has 100 timesrnof electric resistivity compared to conventional SMC. And this material shows iron lossrn76W/kg at excited magnetic flux of 0.1T and drive frequency of 30kHz, same to that of Fe-rn6.5Si lamination steel with 0.1mm thickness. This material is suitable for reactor core orrnchoke coil core with small volume. For example, electric conveters on electric / hybrid vehiclernor solar energy generation system.
