Development and Implementation of a Waste Reporting System for an International Enterprise

The Project took place in an international enterprise working in the field of production, distribution and maintenance of lifts and escalators. The enterprise is a subsidiary company of a major group established in the USA.. The Berlin Plant builds the German headquarters where the Environmental Management is located. The Task was to optimize the process of the waste data management in the Environmental Management by the development of a software system. The ambitious project goal was to achieve an automated treatment of the process as much as possible. In the result a comprehensive system was created which enables it to register and evaluate all Germany-wide waste within the production, installation and maintenance. In addition, the system supports an editing of the data and extended evaluations. The already available functionality and the possibility to implement farther functions can be seen as a respectable platform for a comprehensive waste management.
