EXPOSURE ASSESSMENT TO MUSCULOSKELETAL LOAD OF THE UPPER EXTREMITY IN REPETITIVE WORK TASKS

The purpose of the presented study is to perform a comparative exposure assessment to musculoskeletal load of the upper extremity by applying selected evaluation schemes. Several workplaces that involved repetitive tasks had been examined using the CUELA measuring system. The exposure assessment for each workplace was repeatedly conducted using the same data but other evaluation schemes. The results that remarkably differ in some points detect the varying significance of the evaluation schemes for dissimilar repetitive work tasks and in mutual comparison. They may provide criteria for compiling a catalogue that contains rapid, inexpensive methodology as well as more sophisticated one for exposure assessment to musculoskeletal load of the upper extremity in order to follow scientific and preventive goals.
