摘要

This paper introduced the importance and development of cascade coordination of protective devices in DC power system. It analyzed the model of DC air switches and the algorithms to verify the cascade coordination of switches in different voltage levels. To verify if the cascade coordination of the DC air switches meets the demand in substations, a novel testing system for the verification of cascade coordination is designed in this paper. The experimental results suggest that the proposed testing system is reliable and practical in engineering application.
