We need to know saturation dependent relative permeabilityrnand capillary pressure functions for the reservoir rocks inrnorder to be able to carry out flow simulation successfully.rnBoth of these properties depend on the wettability, which isrnacknowledged as playing an important role in fluid flow.rnWe have carried out a sensitivity study of the two-phase flowrnproperties on the production from a turbidite field, startingrnwith network modelling to simulate two-phase flow at the porernscale. A new method has been used to “anchor” networkrnmodel parameters to existing (drainage) capillary pressurerncurves. The wettability was varied systematically, and a rangernof corresponding relative permeability and capillary pressurerncurves were generated. These curves were then used in flowrnsimulations of a sector of the turbidite reservoir.rnResults show that it is very important to consider uncertaintiesrnin the two-phase flow parameters because they have arnsignificant effect on recovery.
