FORMATION OF NEUTRAL MANGANESE LINES POTENTIALLY SUITABLE FOR PLASMA DIAGNOSTICS

Formation of Mn I lines potentially suitable for plasmarndiagnostics is discussed. Synthetic profiles calculated inrnNLTE conditions with a comprehensive model atom arerncompared with solar spectrum. Hyperfine structure isrntaken into account for 37 lines (9 multiplets). The in-rnfluence of optical pumping by emission from Mg II k linerncore is discussed.
