The ability of antimicrobial agents to enter bacterialcells is usually a pre -requisite to their antimicrobial action.Increased delivery of antimicrobial agents, such asmembrane-translocating peptides, to microorganisms willpromote more effective concentrations of antimicrobials atthe site of action and may also contribute towardsovercoming resistance.
