Cost Effective Quality for the Gulf Region's First Stainless Cold Rolling Plant

This paper covers the investment criteria surrounding the first stainless steel cold rollingrncomplex to be installed in the Gulf region. The critical aspects that are discussed include the factorsrnaffecting the initial investment cost as well as the running costs for such a plant but all are consideredrnwith regard to selection of equipment that will produce a quality product. This project represents arnsignificant step forward in the activities of the Gulf Investment Corporation in the field of majorrnprojects and the award of the full turnkey contract to Danieli demonstrates the mutual trust that hasrnbeen established between the 2 companies for it's execution. The new company that has been formed tornrun this plant is called United Stainless Company (USCO).
