The economic and environmental aspects of non-point pollution control: the rouge river national wet weather demonstration project

Over the past 25 years,the Clean Water Act has successfully targeted point sources as the primary polutant control issue.Increasingly,it has become apparent that non-point sources in many areas are sufficiently large to preclude the desired uses of waterways.unformtunately,there has yet to be implemented an effective institutional means of controlling these soruces.Thus,while a great deal of informaiton has bene assembled pertaining to the technical aspects of non-point source control,the actual implementation remains a challenge.
