A press-coated tablet formulation based onrncontrolled erosion of a wax-disintegrant layerrnwas investigated in in-vitro and in-vivo studiesrnIn-vivo release from the core tablet wasrndetermined by gamma scintigraphy and in-vitrornand in-vivo lag-times compared. Erosion of therncoating layer appeared slower in-vivo than invitro.
