PLGA MICROSPHERE / PVA HYDROGEL COMPOSITES FOR LOCALIZED DELIVERY OFCOMBINATIONS OF TISSUE RESPONSE MODIFERS

摘要

We have developed a novel PLGAmicrosphere/PVA hydrogel composite drug deliveryplatform that can lead to programmable localizeddelivery of tissue response modifiers in theimmediate environment of implantation. Releasedata and pharmacological effects of dexamethasone(to control inflammation and inhibit fibrosis) and ofVEGF (to stimulate neo-angiogenesis) are presented.
