The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a wound coating material including H 2 O 2 -containing PLGA microspheres in a hydrogel sponge, and a wound coating material prepared through the same. Wound dressing of the present invention is incorporated with H 2 O 2 in the PLGA microspheres which incorporated a H 2 O 2 using a solvent evaporation method and include them in the alginate-based hydrogel sponge. Accordingly, H 2 O 2 is released at an appropriate rate, and oxygen is supplied to the wound to aid in tissue regeneration.
