The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a wound coating material including _{H 2} O _{2 -containing PLGA microspheres in a hydrogel sponge, and a wound coating material prepared through the same.} Wound dressing of the present invention is incorporated with H ₂ O ₂ in the PLGA microspheres which incorporated a H ₂ O ₂ using a solvent evaporation method and include them in the alginate-based hydrogel sponge. Accordingly, H ₂ O ₂ is released at an appropriate rate, and oxygen is supplied to the wound to aid in tissue regeneration.
