Developing learners' English thinking capabilities with the assistance of multimedia and network

This paper overviews the necessities of developing learners' thinking capabilities in English education. Based on a clear definition of English thinking capabilities, the author suggests 2 effective ways to develop learners' thinking capabilities in the multimedia and network supported English teaching and learning environment.
