Optimization in optics design of encoder using interference fringe

摘要

We developed a simulator for the interference fringe type encoder using the Fresnel-Kirchhoff diffraction formula. To optimize the design of the encoder's optical system, we used the simulator to analyze the influence of the following factors: 1) the wavelength band, 2) the radiation size, and 3) the shape of the diffraction grating surface.
