Mid-IR Non Contact Reflectance Probe for Process Monitoring

In most multi-step processes involving surface treatments, it is critical to control surface characteristics before proceeding with subsequent steps. The need to maximize process efficiency necessitates use of a real time non-contact sensor to monitor each step in the conating process. These steps may include multiple paint coatings, paper and fabric sizing, and composite and epoxy molding and cure monitoring.
