Incorporation of OTAG and GCVTC Emission INventory Data into the EPA Trends Inventory

The Emission Factors and Inventory Group (EFIG) of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has develoepd the National Emission Trends (NET) data base. This data base originated from the Interim Regional INventory developed for EPA by E.H. Pechan & Associates, Inc. The Interim Regional Inventory was originally developed to provide EPA with a set of consistent regional emission estimates for the Eastern United States for input to the Regional Oxidant Modeling (ROM). The Interim Regional Inventory was developed with the objective of incorporating State-submitted 1990 inventories as they became available. Whiel these inventories were due in November 1992, only in the past few months have there been enough State data available to make it feasible to begin incorporating these data into the NET data base.
