Simulation Management and Visualization for Emissions Processing using the Environmental Decision Support System

Emission inventories require complex processing to provide inputs for air quality models. Creating a single emission input file can involve tens or hundreds of separate program runs during which tens or hundreds of iles are used, created, and passed from one program to the next. Often this process is repeated many times to simulate emission control strategies. Moreover, emission modelers require visualization tools to comprehend the vast amounts of data in an emission inventory and to understand the effects of emission processing on the inventory.
