摘要

This paper describes reconstruction of permeability distribution in material. Magnetostatic fields are imposed to the material including magnetic substance. The normal and tangential components of the resultant magnetic fields consisting of the external and perturbed fields are measured on the surface. The permeability distribution is iteratively improved so that the magnetic fields computed from the normal and tangential components become identical in the material. It is shown that this approach yields successful reconstruction of the position of the magnetic substance while the inferred maximum permeability does not always converges.
