摘要

In the membrane absorption, the influence of membrane micro-strucure, i. e. porosity, pore size, interval between pores, on membrane absorption process can no be ignored. Kim et al [1] and Baudot et al [2] reported that the mass transfer should only take place in the membrane surfaces where membrane pores existing and believed the membrane micro-structure would affect mass transfer performance seriously. However, Kreulen et al [3] reported that the membrane micro-structure had no effect on the mass transfer performance for their membrane absorption experiment. The author analysis the mass transfer process of solute in the liquid phase near membrane surface, and then believes that the membrane micro-structure will affect the concentration profile of the solute in liquid phase where near the membrane surface, which coursed the loss of the phases contact area on gas/liquid interface and therefore affected the mass transfer rate of the membrane absorption process. In this study, a the theoretic study is carried to investigate the influence of the porosity, pore size and the interval between pores of the membrane on mass transfer in the membrane absorption process.
