The Variable Fidelity Optimization for simulation-based design: A review

摘要

This article reviews Variable Fidelity Optimization (VFO). It presents the typical VFO framework —approximation management framework (AMF), in this section the applications and shortcomings of AMF are discussed and the corresponding improvements of AMF is also presents. Its related techniques—scaling method follows. Besides, some newly developed VFO approaches have also been discussed. Finally, it ends with topics for future research.
