BWBC 64 MW Traveling Grate Hot Water Boiler Technology

QXL64-1.6/150/90-AII the hot water boilers developed and designed by BWBC is completed on the basis of market requirements, a great number of investigations and repeated proofs, calculations and modifications. Its reasonable structure and excellent performance have been proved after winter heating operations. This paper introduces the basic design philosophies of the boiler. It includes forced circulation and safety, furnace-baking optimization arrangement, water cooling screen, fly ash re-burning technology and the application and improvement of large beam type stoker. And it also gives the detailed instructions to the basic structure, design data and the actual operation tests of BWBC's first 64 MW hot water boiler.
