Generally speaking, the most of gas-solid catalytic reaction is a parallel consecutive reaction and the intermediate product is very important. The first order parallel consecutive reactions are reacted in the fluidized bed. The effects of the particle size and the reaction rate constants upon the reactant conversion and the yield of the intermediate product were investigated. "A" size particle for Geldart classification is the most suitable particle size for the gas-solid fluidized bed catalytic reactor. However, if particle mixture of "A" size particle with suitable size of "C" powder is more uniformly fluidized by gas than that of only "A" particle, the reactant conversion or selectivity of the intermediate product are almost the same as that of the isothermal plug flow reactor even if the rate constant is large. This particle system will be used for gas-solid fluidized bed catalytic reactor in future.
