摘要

This paper introduces the focal point of teaching in engineering graphics will change from reading and making 2D projection drawings to 3D solid modeling In the teaching system with 3D solid as kernel, execution of DIY interactive teaching can not only improve students' skill in 3D solid modeling, but also enhance their consciousness of working and thinking. It changes the study mode from passive following lecture to active exploration and build-up of the ability of spatial imagination and innovation. Some examples of DIY interactive teaching, by means of 3D solid structure with intersection and combination, are presented. Innovative suggestions are made on the methods of exercise, examination and contest in graphics.
