Determination of urinary oxalate using oxalate-selective membrane electrodes

The paper propsoe two counterions for oxalate-selective liquid membrane constructions: [Fe(o-phenantroline)_3]~2+ (I) and [Fe(neocuproine)_3]~2+ (II).As solvent it was used nitrobenzene (NB).the ion-selective membrane electrodes have a near-nernstian response over the conentration ranges: 100#um#mol/L-0.01#um#mol/L (I) and 100 #um#mol/L-0.1#um#mol/L.(II) respectively.For obth membrane electrodes the limit of detectin was 1nmol/L.The workign pH ranges are 2.0-8.0 (I) and 2.0-7.0(II) respectively.
