摘要

This paper analyzes the potentials and describes the frame of a collaborative platform for the stakeholders included Sino-German enterprises and institutions engaged in Environmental Protection (EP) of China, students and faculty of the partner universities (ECUST & FHL) on EP. Its goal is to design an internet platform to serve the stakeholders and promote the communication and collaboration between them. The original idea is to contribute the improvement of EP in China and provide suggestions and solutions for the complex and increasing environmental problems.The current environmental problems are serious and complex in China, and chemical industry is recognized to be one of the most important contributors. Therefore, it is found that the most urgent demands are developing innovative technologies on pollution treatment and culturing the talents to undertake the mission of environmental protection. This paper considers that international communication and collaboration is the royal road to help to achieve these demands.Communities of Practice, are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly, which has great many practical applications in knowledge management, and becomes the foundation of knowing and learning theory. With this concept as direction, this paper analyzes the demands and motivations of stakeholders and designs the draft filled different activities and interactions of them according to the platform.
