ACTIVE STRETCHER CONTROL DEVICE FOR IMPROVING MOUNTAIN S.A.R. HELICOPTER MISSIONS

The paper briefly describes an active device tocontrol and stabilize the stretcher during theSAR missions with helicopter. After anintroduction that explains the typical difficultieshappening during SAR operations by means ofstretcher recovered into the helicopter cabinusing a cable, some details about the proposedcontrol device are reported.
