Estimation of pile lengths of a failed school block using the parallel seismic logging method

The following conclusions can be made for the investigation ⅰ. Most of the driven pile lengths were found to be less than the recommended design length of 30m. Some of the short piles were also found to be on bedrock. ⅱ. At the settled locations, the lengths of the piles were found to be short and installed in the medium dense sand layer. ⅲ. PS tests can be a useful tool to determine approximately the lengths of driven piles in a failure investigation.
