Although this paper is designed to address the preparation of the expert witness for litigation, it will often speak in terms of the conduct of attorneys. In view of the vital interrelationship between the trial attorney, the corporate attorney, and the expert (retained or corporate staff) the authors believe that the paper will provide helpful tips to the expert, even when addressign the conduct of the attorney.
