摘要

This paper deals with the numerical solutions ofconverging and diverging flows, between two disks. Theresults are obtained by solving a nonlinear third orderordinary differential equation using a modified shootingmethod. The governing equation is written as a system ofthree nonlinear first order ODE's and the resultingsystem is solved as an initial value problem via theRunge-Kutta method. The results are given in terms ofvelocity profiles and static pressure distributions. Theseare compared with previously reported experimentaldata obtained by others.
