摘要

The purpose of this preliminary study is the appliedto geology using the Landsat TM satellite image of theTanggung area of southern part of the Bandung, Indonesia toprovide basic information for geological survey. For this,topography, geology and satellite image were constructed tospatial database. Digital elevation, slope, aspect, curvature,hill shade of topography were calculated from the topographicdatabase and lithology was imported from the geologicaldatabase. Lineament, lineament density, and NDVI were extractedthe Landsat TM satellite image. The results showedthe close relationship between geology and terrain andsatellite image. Each sedimentary rock seldom correspondswith geology and analyses of topography but as a whole forsedimentary rocks coincide with them. Tuff and volcanicbreccia in the volcanic rocks correspond with the result ofterrain analyses. Talus deposits is well matched with theanalyses of topography/satellite image.
