In this paper, a model of a three-shaft gas turbine which is based on modular modeling method has been founded by MATLAB/Simulink to study its performance. By combining the least-square and neural-network method in the process of modeling, we fit the gas turbine characteristics, and get a more accurate characteristic curve. Finally, according to experimental data in some working conditions, we calculate the simulation model in order to obtain the steady-state value of import and export of its components and the curve in variable working conditions. After comparing the experimental data with the simulation data, it's proved that the simulation results are highly accurate.
