More than half of the world’s population lives in the cities.And that is growing rapidly. By 2050, about 2/3 of the worldwill become urban areas by 2050. It is the symbol of nationaldevelopment that population transfer from rural areas to urbanareas. With increasing urbanization, it will promote rapideconomic growth and improve the living standard of urbanresidents. But, the social contradiction will also be deeply. Andit will cause a lot of deep-seated social problems, suchenvironmental problems, unbalanced regional development,urban poverty and so on.
