Estimation of Passengers’ Spatio-temporal Distribution in Underground Space from Flow Counts

Based on a survey data, this paper firstly proposes a networksimplification to obtain determined constraints. Subject to theseconstraints an entropy model is adopted to estimate the ODmatrix. With this method it is possible to estimate the missingflow data in the simplified network and to estimate pedestrianspatio-temporal distribution in the underground space. Themethod for estimating flow counts in the origin networks will beanalysed in the future.
