Development of a New Direct Coloring Technique for Powder Coatings

摘要

A new coloring method using fluidized bed granulation technology has been developed toimprove the color-matching capability and manufacturing efficiency of powder coatings. Thenew technique can coat a variety of color pigments in slurry form onto the powder coatingparticles produced by conventional manufacturing processes. Direct color tone control ofpowder coatings can be achieved by the new technique. This paper discusses the new coloringtechnique and its superior coloring performance.
