In order to solve the problem that it is difficult to be obtained the surrounding rock wave velocity in the long and deep tunnel, we present a method to inverse the parameters of wave velocity under the constraint of borehole core. Firstly, the correspondence between the wave velocity parameters and the electrical parameters of the surrounding rock is established by drilling core specimen, then the velocity generalized inversion is carried out with the optimal inversed algorithm, after that, the tunnel surrounding rock is grade according to the inversed wave velocity. Based on this method, we develop a software to classify the surrounding rock, and robustness of the software has been validated by the excavated tunnel rock data. The results of classification system display good correspondence with the data from excavation.
