Culpabilities in Medical Diagnostic Software: A Review of Legal Implications

This paper presents a preliminary report on the legalliabilities that might arise from the use of a particular typeof artificially intelligent software, specifically medicaldiagnostic expert systems. The paper proposes an in depthstudy of the relevant theories of law, especially productliability, and the liabilities that may be incurred by thedeveloper of this type of software.
