摘要

A superior proton dose conformation in comparison with photons has been demonstrated at several radiation treatment clinics and research centers. Such superiority is associated with the Bragg peak at the end of range for charged particles (1). However, the range of protons inside a patient's body is very sensitive to tissue density variations along a proton's path length.
