PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible proton conductive resin permitting formation of a film at ambient temperature, a manufacturing method of proton conductive fine particles, a proton conductive fine particle application solution and an application solution for manufacturing proton conductive resin, and a solid fuel cell using the proton conductive resin and an electrochromic element. PSOLUTION: Tantalum pentachloride is dissolved in alcohol, and the solution is heated up to 600-800 C as it is or after evaporating the solvent following hot refluxing. Or tantalum pentachloride is dissolved in alcohol, water is added to generate gel, the gel is separated from the solvent and heated up to 600-800 C. And accordingly tantalum pentachloride powder used as the proton conductive fine particles is obtained. The tantalum pentachloride fine particles are dispersed in a liquid solvent to obtain the proton conductive fine particle application solution. An ultraviolet cured resin or the like is added to the application solution to obtain the application solution for manufacturing proton conductive resin.
