Primary reformers are expensive and complex units operating close to metallurgical limits. Problemsrncan be expensive both in terms of hardware cost and lost production. This paper pulls together arncouple of decades of experience to provide useful training material and a reference starting pointrnwhen reformer operation does not appear to be as it should.
