DESIGN OF LONG RAILWAY TUNNELS BY STAKING SYSTEMS

摘要

This report describes information on long underground railway tunnel configuration, tunnel design, related underground construction issues, and alternative alignment analysis for the original tender design of the Dongbacksan-Dokye railway project, Kangwon province, eastern side of Korea. The current design-build project is to replace the existing railway with a convenient and comfort to operate a railway system that eliminates a present series of switchbacks to develop a two-loop tunnel as a staking system.
