GEOMETRICAL KNOWLEDGE IN DESIGNING THE TUNNEL OF EUPALINOS

摘要

The tunnel of Eupalinos is one of the most famous engineering-works of the antiquity. The lay-out of this underground work clearly shows that it was designed with clear engineering principles. It is above all the very single monument of the antiquity on wich we can study the knowledge in mathematics and geometry available in archaic period.
