LLNL's Support to DOE/NNSA's Next Generation Safeguards Initiative in the Area of International Safeguards Education and Training

摘要

LLNL's portfolio of training and education programs in the area of nonproliferation includes courses and curricula support on nonproliferation, international safeguards policy, and environmental sampling, direct outreach to students from local and regional universities; and graduate and postgraduate internships on-site. Since 2008, nearly a thousand students participated in these activities, which advances the NGSI's aim to recruit, educate, train, and retain the next generation of international safeguards professionals.
