摘要

The relation between nanoclay and water effects is very complicated. Interactions of water and nano size type of silicate -aluminum is more complicated due to the special properties of nano material. A new simple technique is developed for studying the swelling phenomenon which represents the most important property of clay-water relation. The developed technique could find more aspects of water-clay behavior. The swelling property is not always only disadvantage with bad effects but sometimes has very important advantages. A comparison and differences with conventional clay-water are made. The results are very important in studying the nanocomposites and clay soil.
