摘要

In the paper the results of electrochemical smoothing of machined surface after rough electrodischarge machining have been presented.The electrochemical smoothing process was carried out as in the classical electrochemical machining.In this way of smoothing the electrode is the negative of the shape of the machined surface.The electrode was in stable position over the machined surface.The mathematical model of the smoothing process and the results of experiments have been presented.In the investigations the influence of hte machining parameters,such as interelectrode voltage,time of machining and thickness of initial interelectrode gap on the thickness of material excess removed and indicators of machined surface micro-geometry (roughness,thickness of changed layer) have been taken into account.the results of invesstigation have it proved that this way of finsihing is very efficient.The roughness Rz of machined surface was decreased from the initial value about 50 #um#m to the 2#um#m in very short time -about 16 second.
