The issue of corrosion resistant reinforcement for reinforced concrete members is being studied by using a commercial FRP pultruded floor panel to provide combined tensile reinforcement and permanent form-work. The laboratory and theoretical work has the principal objective of studying the short-term structural performance of flexural members using such novel reinforcement with the purpose of developing specifications for commercial applications.
