Crude Candida lypolytic lipase was purified with ultrafiltration membrane. Lipolytic activity , synthetic activity and enatioselectivity in the kinetic resolution of Ibuprofen by the lipase-catalyzed esterification in organic media were investigated. The permeate with 60,000 cut-off membrane showed lower lypolytic activity than the retentate,but higher enantioelectivity. Efficiency of lipase catalysis was significantly affected by organic media
