Using Business Modeling Methods for Requirements Specification

摘要

Business modeling is a tool for managing and simulating processes. However, business modeling may be also useful for definition of requirements specification. Business model should describe the processes that will be provided by software for the purpose of requirements specification. If such business model is captured by UML activity diagram and redefined in accordance with pattern rules, then processes may be automatically transformed to UML use case diagrams. The present paper examines the process of redefinition of the activity diagram and transformation from activity diagram to use case diagram.
