It is generally accepted that information is a useful commodity, especially when using it to make some critical decision. People prefer acting in an informed fashion, which is why they accumulate information when it is available and purchase information when it is scarce.rnThe vast amount of information available today on the internet has great potential to improve the quality of decisions. However, the large number of information sources and their different levels of accessibility, reliability, completeness and associated costs present human decision makers with a complex information gathering planning problem that is difficult to solve without any tools to aid the process. In many cases, manual browsing through even limited amounts of relevant information is no longer effective. The cost and time trade off by the dynamic environment and the collection of information give us a reason to implement the information gathering algorithm to serve as a guide in the information gathering process within our system.
