摘要

Completely substituted bismuth iron garnet single crystal films (Bi_3Fe_5O_(12): BIG) have been synthesized onto Gd_3(ScGa)_5O_(12) (001) substrates by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. The XRD analysis shows good epitaxial growth onto the single crystal substrate. The 4πM_s is about 1630 Gauss and the coercive field is below 40 Oe at room temperature. The Faraday rotation spectrum in the range from 500 nm to 900nm and hysteresis loop have been measured at room temperature and 80 K.
